Exploring The South West of WA
The Margaret River region is famous for wine and surf. We love spending time down there and listed below are our reasons why:
Wineries
The area is most famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. There re so many great cellar doors to visit and the tastings are FREE! Some of our favourites include:
- Knee deep
- Vasse Felix
- Wills domain

Breweries
If you get sick of wine there are also a number of great breweries. These include:
- Eagle Bay Brewery
- Cheeky Monkey
- Black Brewing Co.
Beaches
The area is famous for its surf, but there are also peaceful bays with no waves. Top picks are:
- Meelup Beach or Eagle Bay for flat, no waves
- Smiths beach or Yallingup for surf

There are a number of towns to explore these include:
- Margaret River (check out the cheese and chocolate factory)
- Dunsborough (lots of gift stores and a great bakery)
